Maisie-Classic Patches

So far on the trip I have been collecting patches to sew onto my school chair bag when I get home. I have already collected 15 patches and are planning to get one more from Sydney. I have spend pretty much all of my pocket money on patches and surprisingly they are more expensive than I thought. We get $5 pocket money every week for doing our jobs. The most expensive patch was the Great Ocean Road patch and it was $10! The cheapest was from Cabramurra, the highest town in Australia and it was only $1! Most patches I get from souvenir shops but in the Frementle Markets there was a whole shop full of patches from all around Australia! I bought three (A Great Barrier Reef one, a Fremantle one and a Brisbane one because I had missed them). I could have gone crazy and bought my whole collection there and they were pretty cheap. My favourite patches are the Perth one and the Bright, Victoria one. I am excited about when I sew them all on to see what they look like. I hope they all fit!

  1. You do have a patch addiction Maisie! I can help you sew them on your chair bag if you like. X Nannie

  2. I used to collect patches too and get them sewed on to my spray jacket. Ask your dad whether he had a spray jacket with lots of patches. Perhaps it was a Tassie thing
