Maisie- Are you scared of the dark?

The Capricorn Caves are just outside of Rockhampton.

I had never been in a cave before.  I was careful not to stand on bat poo (guano) and not to knock my head on a stalactite. We had to walk through some tight spaces. Don't you think Milla looks like a ghost?

We got to experience "cave darkness".  It really spun Mum out but I found it heightened my other senses.  Luckily we didn't see any bats.  I have experienced enough bats at our previous campsite (see Milla's entry) to last me a while.
