At Mackay airport, you can get really close to the landing planes. So close that they are really loud and you can nearly see the pilots. We watched two planes, a jet star 737 and a Virgin A320 come in to land right over our head. We saw a few propeller planes come in to land too.
Next, we went fishing out in Nigel's boat. We only caught one undersized bream that we threw back.
I built a tunnel out of sand but I didn't get to finish it because the tide was going out and we had to head back into shore because soon the boat would get stuck in sand.
