Maisie- Magnificent Manly

Manly is a suburb of Sydney at the entrance to Sydney Harbour.  It has both surf and bay beaches.  We caught the ferry to Manly because you can't catch the train.  The ferry ride takes about half an hour.

 We got a great view of the Sydney Opera House and the harbour and lots of other little bays.

  When we got to Manly we walked a street of shops to get to the surf beach.  There were lots of people at the beach.  I really wanted to boogy board but we unfortunately didn't take them on the ferry.  Manly had a lot of surf shops and trendy cafés and restaurants.  There was another little beach around the corner with lots of fancy houses overlooking it.  I would love to live in Manly.
