Harvey- 10'000 klomerters
Today was a specil day because we crossed the border and got to 100,000 km, oops not that many 0's.... 10,000km.
I did some good kicks over the border. I reckon we will get somewhere near 15,000 km on the trip.
It wasn't long after we crossed the border that we got to our camp. We played mini golf. I loved it but I lost to Dad by 2 shots in a thriller. :(

Milla - Icecream Sunday
Mum said "no icecreams". Then she said "yes".
They were $5. I got a chocolate one. My brother and sister got a choc mint. There were some toppings to choose from. I got one of the sprinkles but both toppings. It was dripping. Mum and Dad helped to lick it.

Maisie-These are a Few of my Favourite Things
So far I have been keeping a list of places I would like to live in. I am sure I will add more to my list but these are the few I have already recorded:
1. Burra (SA)
2. Hahndorf (SA)
3. Adelaide
4. Perth
We went to Fremantle yesterday in the morning and went out to breakfast. It was delicious! It was also Marine Day at the Fremantle Port and we got to go on a New Zealand warship. Then we caught our flight back to Adelaide and I got to sit on the window seat! We left at 3:00pm and got to Adelaide at about 8:00pm because we lost time through daylight savings and also because the sun was setting. It was really beautiful coming in over Adelaide airport. We are now staying at Glenelg Beach and then we are heading off on the Great Ocean Road.Harvey- The Wild West
Bike riding at Rottnest Island was the best. Zooming down hills and cruising everywhere. Always keep an eye out for Quokkas. Riding alone was a lot of fun, I loved flying down the hill near our apartment. I went on a big ride with dad to the lighthouse in the middle of the island past the lakes and up big hills which pushed me to my limit. I had a few little stacks mostly caused by turning in soft sand.

Before we headed back on the plane we had look at the Fremantle markets and I could not believe the size of my pancakes for breakfast. We then got to visit on board a New Zealand war ship.
I met the pilot who flys helicopters. I am sad to leave Perth but excited be going on a plane again back to Addlaide.Thursday, 6 November 2014

Harvey- putting for the Masters
I love golf and for the first time on the trip I've played 2 whole days of golf. The first day we found a 9 hole golf course on Rottnest Island. At the golf course there was a putting challenge. We gave it a go. The club record was square. Dad finished at 1 over. He was very disappointed.
Today my Dad and I played golf on the 9 hole course. I pushed my bag round the whole time. We were the only ones on the course snd it was very beautiful.
We saw a lizard sleeping that looked like a stumpy blue tongue lizard.
On one par 3 hole, I beat Dad. I got a double bogey and Dad got a 4 over par.
If you're good at golf you can work out how many shots we both had.
This is what our score card looked like.
The next 2 golf courses I would like to play on are Pebble Beach and Augusta. These golf courses are in America so I can't do it this trip.
